Some of the advice is strange, while other advice borders on bizarre…
But, he still offers it, talking to anyone who will listen!
Now, if you’re like most people who are dieting, you may slowly fill your water bottle while turning an ear his way.

Tips to Boosting Fat Loss
Every now and then, when you’re losing weight, everyone is willing to share their “tips” for how they lost a pound or two.
Yes, they are proud of themselves and the advice they are giving…
But, does it translate to YOUR fat loss journey?
Some advice might, while other advice probably won’t amount to more than a hill of beans.
Trust me, I’ve been there!
I have listened to advice over the years – some that was crap, some that was actually decent, and some advice was so bad, I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy.
But I will say this…
Some of the strangest tips I have ever gotten…
Have produced the greatest results for me!
Here are a few of the bigger ones:
1. Brush Up With Some Mint
There is just something about mint that can put an end to any food cravings.
No, there isn’t some magical chemical or molecule in mint that keeps you from eating, it’s simply the taste.
If you have ever eaten something after brushing your teeth with mint – or chewing a piece of mint gum – then you know first-hand just how awful the food ends up tasting.
For me, this prevented me from eating MORE - especially after I finished a meal and popped a mint into my mouth.
2. Keeping the Phone AWAY From the Nightstand
One thing that you should try hard to do is to keep your phone away from the nightstand.
Yes, the gentle music you play on Pandora may lull you to sleep, but if your screen stays on, that means there is less BLACKNESS in your room.
And that tiny light may disturb your sleeping patterns, which could put a wrench in your fat loss plans.
Studies show that sleep loss may spike hormones that boost your appetite, leading to unruly cravings and the inability to control your impulses.
So for better fat loss, sleep in a dark room that is void of ANY light (if at all possible).
3. Exercise in a Cold Room
Here is one of the most bizarre tips I have ever heard – but it works!
Being in a cold room may stimulate the tiny patches of brown fat that is on your body.
Brown fat tissue contains quite a few tiny - yet powerful - fat burners called mitochondria (which is why the tissue is tainted brown).
And when you activate this brown fat – usually activated by shivering – it increases the utilization of fat by the mitochondria found in your brown fat tissue.
This produces heat and could burn calories in the process!
The WEIRD Ones Have It
If you have ever wanted to lose the fat…or any excess weight you’ve been carrying, then you have probably sought out as many tips as you can find!
And this can be good and bad…
Some of the tips may not work at all, while others (although strange) may work wonders for your fat loss.
Although strange, the tips listed above may just push your fat loss into a whole new realm.
