How This Simple Conversion Turns Your Body Into a Fat-Fighting Machine--Overnight
Do you want to know the secret to fat loss?
Of course you do!
Everyone does. Everyone wants to know how they can burn years of stubborn fat – with the least amount of effort possible.
Well, I have some great news for you:
Researchers have stumbled upon, what may be the easiest way to torch stubborn fat and finally flatten your midsection.
And all you need is 30 minutes a day – or a simple twist of your wrist.
Cold Temperatures, Beige Fat, and Fat Loss
You may – or may not – know this, but your fat cells are no longer greasy pockets that take on the overabundance of fatty acids that you eat.
In fact, your fat cells release a number of molecules – most good ones – that could stimulate your fat loss and lead to excess calories being burned.
However, some of the molecules it releases could increase your inflammation levels, which could lead to a stagnant metabolism and less ability for your body to burn fat.
But this simple trick could yield some pretty dramatic fat loss results:
So what is it? You could either place an ice pack on your body for 30 minutes OR (and the easier approach) you could turn down your thermostat during the winter months.

Crazy? Yes. Effective? You betcha!
Okay, here’s the low down:
There are three different types of fat cells in your body: white adipose tissue (otherwise known as your belly fat), visceral fat (the nasty fat that increases your heart disease risk and a number of other health issues), and brown fat (stimulated by shivering) that could increase your calories burn through thermogenesis – or to keep you warm.
However, researchers have discovered something new: A hybrid type of fat – called beige fat – that may possess characteristics similar to both your belly fat and your brown fat stores.
And guess what?
It may lead actually TORCH belly fat and burn excess calories!
You see, studies have previously shown that during the cold winter months, that specific proteins – namely UCP-1 and PGC1a mRNA - may be increased FOUR to 10-fold and 1.5 to 2 fold.
AND:
They showed that during the winter months – beige fat activity was increased 3-fold!
This simply means that during the winter months – beige fat may increase in activity, therefore helping people expend more calories through thermogenesis.
However, there is a drawback…
You see, the researchers discovered that people who were overweight or obese showed less activity in the beige fat compared to their lean counterparts.
They concluded this lower activity may be associated with the increased inflammation levels of the adipose tissue, which could prevent the increase protein levels.
But, this shouldn’t prevent you from turning down the heat to TURN ON your fat burning!
They concluded: “Human SC WAT increases thermogenic genes seasonally and acutely in response to a cold stimulus and this response is inhibited by obesity and inflammation.”
Take Home Message
There are plenty of ways to burn fat. But none of those ways could be as easy as this way.
Turning down your thermostat – or adding ice packs to your legs, abs, or other areas of your body – may activate beige fat cells, therefore increasing your calorie burn.
And this extra calorie burn could go a long way to expending calories and boosting your metabolism.
