Lean muscle mass may be the most IMPORTANT tissue in your body.
Lean muscle may BOOST your metabolism and increase your strength.
If you just started an exercise program and may not be seeing the results you anticipated, then you may be lacking a proper nutrition foundation.
A proper nutrition foundation may pave the way for making serious body composition changes, especially in lean muscle tissue.
However, if you already have a solid foundation, then there may be other things you may include to potentially promote muscle development.
If you are stuck in a rut, and have a hard time putting on muscle, then pay close attention.
I am going to share with you THREE secrets for developing lean muscles.
And numbers two and three are VERY IMPORTANT.
Let me explain…
These THREE steps may be important to your success.
Three ways to improve LEAN MUSCLE development:
1. Eating Right (step from above)
Making sure you are eating correctly may increase your lean muscle tissue.
And this may boost your METABOLISM and increase your calorie burn.
You MUST be sure to eat three quality meals per day.
The meals should include lean proteins (grass-fed beef, chicken or turkey, and non-farm raised fish), fibrous carbohydrates, and plenty of fruits and vegetables.
Also including snacks in between your meals which also include lean proteins and fibrous foods, is a must.
This may build a solid food foundation, which may promote development.
Once your foundation is solid and you are still not seeing results, then it may be time to RAMP up your plan with Branched-Chain Amino Acids, protein powder(s), or a pre/post workout shake.
2. BCAA’s
BCAA’s, more commonly referred to as branched-chain amino acids, may be vital for lean mass development.
There are eight amino acids which are considered essential for proper muscle development and growth.
Of the eight, three may play a large role in muscular development.
Leucine, isoleucine, and valine are three amino acids that may comprise one-third of your skeletal muscle.
Skeletal muscle is just another name for lean muscle tissue.
Increasing branched-chain amino acids into your plan, may promote an anabolic state in your body, which may be optimal for muscle growth and repair.
Inadequate levels of these three amino acids may promote breakdown of muscle tissue,
And this may decrease strength and promote increased fat stores.
Branched-chain Amino acids may also:
• Reduce fatigue
• Increase the effectiveness of your training
• Increase nitrogen retention (optimal for an “anabolic state” for muscle development)
Pre/Post Workout Nutrition
Pre- and post- workout nutrition may be the latest trend in nutrition.
Proper nutrition before AND after your workout not only provides your body with the right nutrition, it may also promote a perfect state for muscular development.
Including a meal at least 4 hours PRIOR to your workout may increase your intake of high quality protein or amino acids, which may be necessary to fuel your workout.
A meal which includes lean proteins and complex carbohydrates may provide the essential nutrients you need for a HARD and INTENSE workout.
Immediately following your workout, there is a period where there might be a quicker uptake of nutrients needed to replenish lost energy stores in your muscles.
The first 45 minutes to an hour AFTER your workout, your muscles may be more sensitive to insulin, which may allow for better absorption of nutrients like amino acids, glucose, and water.
This may be the perfect time for a post workout shake that may quickly replenish your body with the building blocks it needs for lean muscle development and proper hydration levels.
Nutrition Is The KEY
To increase lean muscle development, you need a strong food foundation.
Including lean proteins, fibrous carbohydrates, and fruits and vegetables, may supply the necessary nutrition you need to build metabolism-boosting lean mass.
Once there is a strong nutritional foundation, then supplement use may be recommended if you are still having a hard time developing muscle.
Including BCAA’s, a pre/post workout shake, or even a protein shake may supplement your nutrition and promote a healthy anabolic state, which may be optimal for muscle growth and repair.
