Add Years Back to Your Life
So here is what you need to do in order to add years back to your life…
You just need to exercise - such as a brisk walk or run - in order to prolong your life.
That’s it!
But, if you lose weight, increase your physical activity, and reduce your overall BMI (body mass index), then you may add EVEN MORE to your life!
Pretty simple, huh?
And, a new study PROVES that 75 minutes of brisk walking – per week – was able to add 1.8 years to your overall lifespan.
Of course this is compared to people who had NO leisure time exercise – at all!
But wait, there’s more…
The study showed that HIGHER physical activity levels were associated with GREATER gains in life expectancy.
For example, an exercise such as brisk walking for a longer period of time (450 minutes per week) – or maybe even sprinting – may increase your life expectancy by 4.5 years.
Now, when they addressed BMI, they showed some AMAZING results!
They showed that being of NORMAL WEIGHT (BMI of 18.5 – 24.9) and BEING ACTIVE, could cause you to gain a total of 7.2 years back on to your life!
And this was compared to someone with a BMI of over 35 who wasn’t physically active.
So what did the researchers conclude?
“More leisure time physical activity was associated with longer life expectancy across a wide range of activity levels and BMI groups”
Take Back Your Life
In order to take back your life, you need to do two things:
• Engage in low, moderate, or intense exercise at least 75 minutes per week or more
• Change the way you eat and exercise in order for you to reduce your overall BMI
If you do these two things, then chances are you may improve your health, lose more weight, boost your metabolism – and most importantly – add YEARS BACK TO YOUR LIFE!
