There are 2 studies where researchers reported that drinking water can increase the metabolism by 24-30% over 1.5 hours.
If you can drink 8.5 cups of water per day this can equate to an approximate 100 extra calories burned.
The bigger benefit is researchers found that if you drink 2 cups of water about 30-minutes before a meal can increase weight loss by 44%.
They found that the participants ended up eating less calories because there is now less space in your stomach to put food and also your brain doesn’t have as strong of an urge to eat more food.
Focus on drinking 2 cups of water before every meal and see what it can do to your caloric intake and waistline.
