Soothe The Fire Inside Of YOU

There is a fire burning in all of us.

And the fire is NOT determination, drive or success.

It is inflammation.

And inflammation may affect ALL cells in your body.

This inflammation can attack cells, the walls of your veins and arteries and your HEART.

This inflammation can be caused by a number of different things.

Most of you DO NOT EVEN know you have
inflammation attacking your cells.
Each year, your doctor runs tests to determine your cholesterol, white cell count and CRP levels.

CRP, or more commonly referred to as C-reactive protein, is a test which determines how little or how much inflammation is PRESENT in YOUR body.

Let me explain…

Inflammation

When your cells become inflamed cytokines and other markers are released into your bloodstream, alerting your body that inflammation is present.

C-reactive protein is synthesized in your liver in response to cells that are released from your FAT cells.

This stimulates your liver to release CRP into your blood stream.

What is the Big Deal with CRP?

CRP is not only a protein alerting you about inflammation but it is also very important in determining future health risks.

In fact, increased levels of CRP may be linked to future development of Diabetes, heart disease and hypertension.

You doctor MAY be worried if you
have high CRP levels

Increased CRP is the body’s way of alerting you and your doctor that low level inflammation is present.

Is there a fix to high CRP levels?

Changing your diet and starting to exercise may help reduce inflammation.

Eliminating Trans-fat in your diet may help as well.

Trans-fat may INCREASE CRP

Trans-fat may place more stress on the endothelium lining your arteries and veins, which will increase inflammation in your body.

But there is a new face emerging on the scene, which may reduce inflammation, therefore reducing your CRP level.

And that super nutrient is….

Krill oil!

Krill oil has high levels of omega 3 fatty acids, which may be able to reduce inflammation in YOUR body.

The main component of Krill oil is DHA and EPA.

But it also contains DPA, which is another long chain n-3 polyunsaturated fatty acid.

DPA and DHA may reduce inflammation
and reduce CRP levels in your body

Recent research shows that n-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids like DPA and DHA lowered CRP levels.

They also found, intermediate chain fatty acids like EPA and ALA did nothing to reduce CRP.

You already know that omega 3 fatty acids, which are found in Krill oil, may be successful at reducing your risk for heart disease.

We now know that these same omega 3’s, may be responsible for reducing inflammation in your body, resulting in lower risk factors for heart disease

Current research points to omega-3 from marine sources, like fatty fish or Krill or Fish oil supplements were the best sources for healthy n-3 fatty acids.

Omega 3 reduced CRP levels resulting in less inflammation

Reduce your inflammation

Inflammation may do tremendous damage to cells in your body.

Eliminating trans-fats may be the first step to reduce inflammation.

The second step is to incorporate omega 3 fatty acids sources, mostly marine sources.

Another way to include these healthy fatty acids may be to include a Krill oil supplement to your daily routine.

Reducing inflammation may be the key to reduce your risk factors for heart disease, Diabetes and hypertension
