20-Week Study Shows Why You Can't Lose FAT (shocking discovery)
People who eat later in the day may be susceptible to greater increases in weight than people who eat earlier in the day.
And now, a new study may prove this interesting phenomenon!
As simple as weight loss may sound (burn more than you eat), not everyone following the same plan will lose weight or keep the weight off.
In fact, all the tips, tricks, and advice may work for some people, but for others, they may be useless.
However, there are three KEY areas that EVERYONE needs to address if they want to lose weight.
And those areas may include:
• Exercising
• Eating better
• And now, the timing of when you eat
By making changes to all three of these areas, you may find yourself shedding the fat and looking better than you have in YEARS…
Meal Timing and Weight Loss
Summer time may be a time when you eat later, just because you may be entertaining friends, have ZERO energy to prepare – let alone – or just don't want to eat a meal.
Okay, have you found yourself craving MORE food after you eat dinner?
Or do you find yourself pillaging the cabinets or fridge for something – or anything – to eat to satisfy your cravings?
Do you wake up in the morning with ZERO desire to cook and eat breakfast - or you just have NO energy at all?
Although these may seem like trivial matters and something that may just happen during the winter months…
A new study shows that this may not be the case at all!
In fact, it could be EXACTLY the timing of your meals that may be causing all of these symptoms.
Researchers wanted to see if WHEN you ate was just as important as other things when it came to weight loss.
Here’s what they found:
They found that late-afternoon eaters lost less weight, and displayed a slower weight loss during the 20-week study than early eaters.
And, they found that energy intake, dietary composition, energy expenditure, appetite hormone levels, and sleep duration was essentially the same between the two groups.
Now, here’s the interesting part:
They found that late eaters had less energetic breakfasts AND skipped breakfast more frequently than early eaters.
They concluded:
“Eating late may influence success of weight-loss therapy. Novel therapeutic strategies should incorporate not only the caloric intake and macronutrient distribution – as is classically done – but also the timing of food.”
Take Home Message
When it comes to weight loss, everyone is different, meaning different things may work for different people.
Weight loss is not black and white – there are plenty of gray areas involved.
If you’re finding that you are struggling with losing weight, instead of getting frustrated, take a minute and evaluate your plan.
Find out if you are eating breakfast…
Or eating too late in the evening…
Or not exercising enough…
Or eating the wrong food combinations…
Once you find out this information, you may be in a better position to determine where – and what – you need to change to further increase your weight loss.
Now, although there are many things that may help you lose weight, eating at the wrong time may disrupt your fat loss results.
