The TRUTH About Coffeeberry® And Exercise Performance
Free radicals, unstable molecules that are byproducts of normal metabolism, can be very dangerous to your body.
Free radicals go by another name: reactive oxygen species (ROS).

The researchers recruited 20 college athletes and administered either a placebo or 400 mg of Coffeeberry®, taken twice daily for 28 days.
The Coffeeberry® group showed that the participant’s total antioxidant levels increased significantly from beginning to the end of the study.
Also, they noted, that total antioxidant levels were higher compared to pre-supplementation.
Additionally, the heart rate recovery, a measure of how quickly the heart rate drops after exercise, increased significantly in the coffeeberry group.
This means that their heart rate dropped quicker than the control group.
Heart rate recovery is an important measurement of your hearts strength.
After you finish exercising, your heart rate should decrease over time back to resting levels (roughly 30 minutes).
If your heart rate does not decrease, it could mean that your heart is deconditioned, or possibly an even bigger problem exists.
In fact, if your heart rate does not drop by 12 beats per minute in the first minute after stopping exercise, this can potentially increase your risk of death.
The researchers noted that the Coffeeberry® group, also showed a significant decrease in blood lactate levels.
Decreased blood lactate levels, could lessen muscle soreness/muscle discomfort associated with performing strenuous exercise.
