Capsaicin And The WEIRD Weight Loss Connection

It is nearing the end of February and you find yourself struggling for the motivation to lose weight.

And this might leave you frustrated, mad, and most of all, MISERABLE.

You have made the right changes.

You could have even lost some weight.

But now you could find yourself struggling to lose those last few pounds.

And those extra pounds could be the key to reducing your risk factors for developing chronic diseases.

In fact, as little as 10 or 20 pounds overweight, research shows, has the potential to increase internal inflammation in your body.

And this inflammation can increase your risk for diabetes, cancer, or even heart disease.

However, there is a spice that could BUILD lean mass, and enable you to SPLIT and BURN OFF FAT CELLS, forever.

Let me explain…

Capsaicin

Capsaicin is the pungent ingredient commonly found in most red hot peppers.

It can also be found in food additives, spices, and in some medications.

Capsaicin is what gives the pepper its heat and flavor.

And it could be useful for WEIGHT LOSS.

Capsaicin and Weight Loss

Capsaicin, according to some studies, could have thermogenic effects in your body.

Capsaicin could
stimulate your sympathetic nervous system, which could increase thermogenesis through the release of catecholamines from your adrenal glands.

Capsaicin also has the potential to increase the production and release of epinephrine from your adrenal glands.

And this may stimulate fat oxidation or metabolism in your body, which could reduce weight and prevent fat accumulation.

More fat being used for energy + less fat on your body = reduced risk for chronic diseases and weight gain.

In fact, mice receiving capsaicin reduced adiposity by INCREASING energy expenditure through fat metabolism.

The Research

Researchers in Africa wanted to test and see if capsaicin, in a beadlet form (Capsimax®), could increase weight loss and improve body composition.

Capsimax®, this study showed, increased fat oxidation and lipid metabolism.

The encapsulation of the beadlets may also prevent breakdown and absorption of the capsaicin in your stomach.

Instead, the absorption could increase in your intestines; and this might prevent the burning feeling you get after including regular capsaicin with your meal.

The researchers tested Capsimax® on human subjects for eight days,

They measured BMI, metabolic rate, fat loss, and lean mass.

After four days on Capsimax®, the participants showed significant changes in both lean mass and fat mass.

The participants showed a DECREASE in fat weight of 7.8 pounds and an INCREASE in lean mass by 6.6 pounds.(muscle) after 4 days.

There was also an increase in basal metabolic rate by as much as 61 calories per day.

This means their body actually BURNED MORE calories at rest!

After 8 days, there were EVEN more changes to body fat mass, by as much as 8.9 pounds, and lean mass increased again this time by 8 pounds.

After 8 days, basal metabolic rate INCREASED, this time to 76.75 calories per day.

They concluded that Capsimax® altered body composition and fat loss, especially by increasing lean muscle tissue.

Include Capsaicin Into Your Eating Plan

Capsaicin is the pungent principle, which naturally occurs in red hot peppers.

This popular component can add heat and flavor to peppers, food, and sometimes, medicines.

Capsaicin also may hold tremendous potential for WEIGHT LOSS, by increasing energy usage and fat oxidation.

By stimulating your body’s own sympathetic nervous system, capsaicin may SPEED up fat metabolism, by utilizing fatty acids in the blood for energy.

Research suggests this has the ability to reduce fat accumulation, fat stores, and increase your lean mass.
