So, you look for the BEST products on the shelves.
But, some of these products may be FRAUDS!
Here are THREE common examples:
1. Olive Oil
Now, everyone knows that olive oil is one of the BEST oils for you.
It contains healthy fats, is great for cooking, and has been shown to improve heart health (as well as countless other things).
But, some brands of olive oil may not contain just PURE olive oil. Yes, this even includes extra-virgin brands.
Food companies like to include OTHER oils when bottling your olive oil.
Some of the more common oils that may be included: corn oil, hazelnut oil, peanut oil, sunflower oil, palm oil, and vegetable oil.
2. Honey
The product from hardworking bees is also one of the MOST commonly adulterated food products.
Take a look at the label and you may be surprised to find corn syrup, beet sugar, high fructose corn syrup, glucose, and sugar syrup on the label.
And, to top it all off, some honey products may even have dangerous antibiotics and other additives that may cause some serious reactions in your body.
But rest assured, if you buy your honey from farmers' markets or co-ops, then chances are, you’re getting the real McCoy.
3. Orange Juice
Now, you should be either eating the orange by itself, or squeezing your own fresh orange juice if you want a cup in the morning.
Most people turn to commercial brand names that pack their OJ with tons of sugar.
But that’s not all!
Some orange juice may contain mandarin juice, lemon juice, grapefruit juice, high fructose corn syrup, and beet sugar as some common additives.
So much for 100 percent PURE, natural orange juice!

The one thing you should be taking away from this article is making sure you are reading your labels.
If you think a product may be suspect – meaning it may be filled with stuff other than what is on the label – then dig a little deeper and do your research.
Although some companies may put in different additives, sweeteners, and other fillers, there are many companies that don’t.
Take a little more time and read your labels. It will make a world of difference in determining what products are good and what products are not so good.
