Why This Glorified Candy Bar Won't Help You Get Skinny

Look…
If you want to fit into your skinny jeans….look good on the beach…or be able to slip on that sleek new dress you’ve been eyeing…
Then you need to make some changes to the way – especially how – you eat.
There’s a good chance that you, being the go-getter who wants to lose weight before summer, have gone to the store and packed your house with the latest “diet” foods out there.
Items that tout “low-fat,” “sugar-free,” and “fat-free” may be found in almost every weight loss seekers refrigerator or cabinets.
But here’s the deal…
Some of these so-called “diet” foods may actually be doing even more damage to your body – and eliminating your chance of ever being skinny.
Want to know the biggest offenders?
1. Fiber Bars
Yes, it has been hammered into your head that you need to eat more fiber if you want to lose weight.
And for good reason: Fiber is a necessary nutrient for curbing your appetite and making you feel fuller, for longer periods of time.
So you, like millions of others, opt for the quick, on-the-go, fiber option: Fiber bars.
But here’s the problem: Fiber bars may be loaded with sugar, refined carbs, and other additives that make these bars a glorified candy bar.
Most contain more than 200 calories and 25 grams of carbs, which could send your blood sugar through the roof.
If you want to get your fiber in, opt for whole food sources, such as beans, steel-cut oats, sprouted-grain breads, and fruits and vegetables.
2. Those Microwavable Lean Meals
Frozen meals may seem like a good option – especially when you’re trying to maintain a healthy eating plan.
However, these frozen meals may be nothing more than a fat trap in disguise.
You see, in order to help make the meals last longer, food manufacturers pump them full of sodium.
Not only is sodium bad for people with high blood pressure, it’s also bad for those looking to lose the weight.
Too much sodium can lead to fluid retention, which ultimately could lead to bloating and fluctuations on the scale.
Easiest way to avoid this would be to prepare meals ahead of time and freeze them! That way you know just what went into the meal, and you can better control sodium levels.
3. Low-Fat, Fat-Free, or Reduced Fat
I hate to put this on here – simply because it’s a no-brainer – but people still opt for the lower, or zero fat options when they’re trying to lose weight.
Stop, just stop!
When eating low-fat items, most people take liberty to eat MORE – simply because they feel that since they are eating a lower calorie and lower fat meal, they will be ok.
But get this: Low-fat items may contain the same – if not MORE – calories than the full fat version.
Plus, they are filled with additives, sugar, and other artificial ingredients in order to maintain the right consistency and
texture.
This could easily lead to too many calories, which could ultimately lead to fat gain.
The Three Health Foods You Should Avoid
Eating healthy is no easy task. There are so many “healthy” foods on the market that one may have a hard time deciphering which are good and those that are not.
Well, to make it a little easier…
We have come up with the food list from above! These foods may not be the best choice when one wants to lose weight – due to the higher amounts of calories, sodium, and sugar found in the products.
If you’re truly interested in blasting your belly fat and putting all other fat on notice, then avoid these THREE common diet foods.
It will be welcome news to your waistline!
